Should chickpeas be include in your weight loss diet plan?

Chickpeas are most widely available in canned form, and can be eaten right out of the can in mixed bean salads or roasted in the oven for a high protein, high fiber crunchy snack (a perfect snack for a weight loss diet plan!). They can also be pureed and mixed with tahini, olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, and spices to create hummus.
Hummus is great as a dip for fresh vegetables, or used as a spread on wraps or sandwiches.
